Thanks for describing Sapporo. I was never there when I lived in Japan, but from what you say, it sounds a lot like Northen Arizona. I know, Arizona always brings the image of a hot, full of cactus desert to people, but in Flagstaff, we are at 7000 feet of altitud at the edge of the Colorado Plateau and winters are bitter cold. Although during the day, we enjoy a magnificent sunlight and the bluest sky. From my house, the image of the snowcapped San Francisco Peaks against that clean blue, makes me smile every morning while I prepare my green tea...The only difference between Flagstaff and Sappoporo seems to be that in Flag, we do not get much of a Spring. Yes, it is getting warmer, but with Spring, the dry winds come, and nothing really grows till July, when finally, we get the Monsoon's rains. Then, all the sudden, the prairie where I live gets covered with these amazing yellow flowers. It is like a huge blanket laying on the land. It is short, but worth it.
Thanks for the very nice tea you provide and have a good day, every day.
Ja nee.
